(Original by Ôshikôchi no Mitsune.) As maidenflowers don't have a scent, one can only assume Mitsune has intentionally confused maidenflowers and maidens, resulting in the weakest name-play of this whole arc. Compare #39 and #103 for similar poems for other, more justifiable flowers.ominaeshi
