O mists of autumn,
do not rise up this morning:
I would from afar
gaze upon the autumn leaves
of the oaks of Mt. Saho.

Original author unknown. The Nara area is especially noted for its oak trees. More literally, the speaker wants to see the leaves "even while in another place."akigiri wa
