Original by Fujiwara no Michimasa, written when his affair with the supposedly celibate Ise Priestess (the daughter of Emperor Sanjo #68) was discovered and guards were put on her. Grammar issue: I really don't get what's up with the o -- I suspect it of being vaguely exclamatory; if it's a direct object marker, I don't see what object it marks or, indeed, of what verb. I couldn't think of a way to mimic how his quoted statement ends with a continuative rather than final verb form. I also couldn't think of a first line that doesn't suck like a badly broken romance.ima wa tada
