I've seen enough white water-birds that are clearly pure landscape painting, I'm hesitant to jump to seeing them as a bad omen, even in a ghost poem in an episode that's all about prefiguring someone's death. Enough so, I'm willing to put ALL the omen onus on his dream-written poem alone.
