(Original author unknown.) This is, grammatically, three complete sentences arranged in the interesting rhythm of 5 / 7-5 / 7-7 syllables -- older poems more typically used a 5-7 / 5-7 / 7 structure. The lack of visitors and imagery that's borrowed from the Lonely Lady genre of Chinese poetry suggests a female speaker. The original last line (my line 4) is almost the same as in #205.aki wa kinu
