Beneath the winter clouds, my heart is heavy
For my infected laptop's running slow:
While AdAware detects, it can't repair,
And Spybot finds but can't unblock the flow.
Smitfraud has coded claws that still hold on,
While Virtumonde's bit teeth will not let go.
May Heaven's Emperor damn their creators
To be some demon's entertaining show!

An explanation of the form is here. The title is because I was reading Journey to the West at the time.

I am interested in knowing the sources you follow for your forms. For each of the poems you post, if for information about the form you rely on a particular authority, rather than on your general knowledge, or if you know of an authority who can inform the ignorant, it would be a generous bonus if you would post same in addition to all the goodness already in your posts.

About

Warning: contents contain line-breaks.

As language practice, I like to translate poetry. My current project is Chinese, with practice focused on Tang Dynasty poetry. Previously this was classical Japanese, most recently working through the Kokinshu anthology (archived here). Suggestions, corrections, and questions always welcome.

There's also original pomes in the journal archives.
