Original by Ki no Toshisada. This is the same fern as #200; given they don't flower, it's not a relevant topic. OTOH, the tightening in of the imagery from large to small and the 4/1 rhythm of the lines are neatly handled, giving the otherwise standard content a bit of freshness. This wouldn't be out of place in book II.yama takami
